The Foo Fighters have teamed up with Sydney brewery Young Henrys for a new Fooies-themed beer.

The band and the Newtown-based brewery have gotten together for a limited-edition brew named Foo Fighters Foo Town Lager.

It’s a 4% lager designed to not be confronting — you can slam this bad boy down fast and keep slamming it down all night long.

The beer is designed in conjunction with the Concrete and Gold tour that the Foo Fighters and Triple M are conducting, which starts tomorrow in Perth.

You’ll be able to get tinnies of the beer from two Fooies themed pop-up bars, with Melbourne’s prime destination for rusted on rock dogs, Cherry Bar, becoming the Fooie Bar from Jan 24-27, while Hotel Hollywood in Sydney will be Foo Fighters Hotel between the 27th to the 30th.

If you can’t make those dates, you’ll be able to get hold of the precious liquid from the Young Henrys website after the pop-up dates.

This isn’t Young Henrys’ first rodeo in the rock arena; they’ve made brews with Dune Rats and DZ Deathrays in the past.

The Fooies tour for Triple M begins tomorrow in Perth, before heading to Adelaide, Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne.

You can still get tickets here.
