Almost 14 years to the day since the original The Vines line-up played their legendary last show together at Sydney’s Annandale Hotel in celebrated and volatile circumstances the incendiary rockers will reunite for two very special shows supporting JET on the Sydney dates of their upcoming Get Re-Born tour.
The show saw bass player Patrick Matthews walked off stage mid-set and into a cab, never to return to the band and saw a negative reaction to the band with airplay bans and a cancelled Australian tour.
Since then the band have continued to tour with frontman Craig Nicholls and a brand new band, with Craig recently joining The Killers on-stage, proving he’s still in fine form, watch here
Jet and The Vines toured together through the USA in 2004 and made lifelong friendships in the process.

After their 2018 Get Re-Born tour was announced, Jet extended the invitation to the Sydney band to join them in their hometown and were delighted to have their offer accepted.
