Former Blink 182 frontman Tom DeLonge needs your help.

DeLonge is launching the To The Stars Academy of Arts and Sciences, an organisation aiming to discover new things and reach new frontiers in outer space.

That is including the potential discover of extraterrestrial life, something he's had an interest in for a while.

"There is sufficient credible evidence of Unidentified Aerial Phenomena that proves exotic technologies exist that could revolutionize the human experience," his website reads.

He's apparently got the backing of multiple members of US government and defence organisations.

One of those projects includes an intergalactic space ship he's called an "electromagnetic vehicle", which travels instantaneously through space by "engineering the fabric of space-time".

That's not all: other projects mentioned on the website could include "human ultra-experience database, engineering space-time metrics, brain-computer interface and telepathy".

DeLonge mentioned on Facebook that "you can invest in our plan to revolutionize the world" with this sort of technology.

According to his website, 426 investors have already chipped him $215,305 to help him get his academy up and going.
