Could have been better

Pop star Bruno Mars did a flashy and tacky tribute to the late Prince.

The artist, who suddenly passed away at his home in April last year was rightfully honoured at this years Grammy Awards, although the tribute was questionable.

Bruno Mars came on stage, dressed as the great, purple one, in the classic white, frilled neck blouse, purple suit, dark eye make up and classic white guitar- yet the performance came across more like a cheap casino show than a tasteful tribute.

This performance was Mars' second of the night, which is LOADS of performance time for the popular music awards.

What do you think?

For one of the worlds most genius and influential musicians, we expected something with a little more originality.

Bruno Mars did start his music career as an Elvis impersonator at the ripe old age of 4, so we shouldn’t have expected any more.
