It’s been a hard month for Australian music lovers with the loss of both George and Malcolm Young.
Both musicians paved the way for the Australian rock scenes and they will be missed.
Jimmy Barnes and an all star band including Diesel and You Am I’s Davey Lane paid tribute to the musicians to close the 2017 ARIA Awards.
The band performed the AC/DC hit High Voltage. The song was written by Malcolm Young, with younger brother and band mate Angus Young and Bon Scott, whilst the eldest Young brother, George sat in the producer seat.
It was just today that Malcolm was laid to rest in a private funeral held in Sydney, the same city the ARIA Awards were held (read more here).
