Metallica led fans in a sing-along of the Oasis classic Don’t Look Back In Anger during their Saturday night gig at Manchester Arena.
The venue is the same one struck by a terror attack at an Ariana Grande concert in May.
Don’t Look Back In Anger went through a resurgency in the region after the attack, with Oasis’s Manchester roots combining with the song’s message to create an anthem of sorts.
On Saturday night, bassist Robert Trujillo and guitarist Kirk Hammett led the crowd in a rendition of the song during a break in the set.
