Life hasn’t been kind to Eddie Vedder and the Pearl Jam guys, having experienced so much loss from their community.
The hurt was obvious at the bands Seattle show this weekend at Safeco Field.
The band’s home town was also where the late Chris Cornell got his start, saw PJ played the 1992 Cornell b-side Missing with Vedder saying; “We have his songs forever.. I just really want to get his attention and tell him I miss him.”

Adding to this already emotional show, Vedder remembered Tom Petty, who passed away 10 months ago, saying the last time he saw him was at that very venue before taking on his hit single I Won’t Back Down.
