In an interview with The Guardian ahead of this weekends performance at Glastonbury, Dave Grohl revealed the classic pop singer Lionel Richie’s bizarre gift to the Foo Fighters singer.

Grohl said, after missing the band’s last scheduled performance at Glastonbury in 2015 due to breaking his leg, Grohl received a call from his wife telling him of the surprise delivery of a basket of 6,000 muffins with a card reading:

“Sorry to hear about the leg, missing you at Glastonbury, get well soon, PTO.” Not knowing who the sweet delivery was from, Grohl then said he received a text saying Lionel wanted to know if he received the delivery.

Richie was playing the legends stage that year, with Grohl commenting; “I love Lionel Richie!”.

The leg didn't leave Fooey's off the stage for too long, remember that throne;
