With the announcement of KISS' final world tour ever, aptly titled 'End Of The Road'. One can't help but wonder if there will be any appearances from past band members. Read more about the tour announcement here

Much like the majority of bands that have been around as long as KISS, the group have a history of drama-fueled feuds and lawsuits between past and present members. Despite any bad blood, in recent years this seems to have changed to the pleasure of KISS fans worldwide.

In 2014 KISS were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, where the original four members only had kind words to say about each other in their respective acceptance speeches. In 2016, Paul Stanley sung vocals on a cover of Free's "Fire and Water" for Ace Frehley's cover album 'Origins, Vol. 1', and also appeared in the accompanying video clip alongside his former band mate. More recently, Gene Simmon's has been touring his 'The Vault Experience' (a collection of unreleased material) around the globe, and past band members Peter Criss, Ace Frehley, Bruce Kulick and Vinnie Vincent all made appearances with Simmons on a number of occasions. Further solidifying Gene's relationship with Ace, the two toured Australia together back in August and September. Ugly Phil caught-up with Gene, where he spoke about his relationship with Ace, listen below:

KISS' annual Rock "Kruise", the 'KISS Kruise VIII', set sail this past week with KISS, Ace Frehley and Bruce Kulick all on-board. On the first night, during KISS' 'sail-away' acoustic set, the two guitarists joined the band on-stage for a number of songs. Check out a fan video below!

Vinnie Vincent also appeared in his original 'Ankh Warrior' makeup at a KISS Kruise pre-party in Miami the night before, performing live after being incognito for close to 22 years.

With all of this in-mind, Paul Stanley has entertained the idea of past members appearing on the final tour. In a BUILD Series interview, Paul Stanley had this to say on the topic "This is a celebration of the history of the band, not any individual line-up... it would be crazy for us to be so short-sighted to not want to involve other members [of] the band... so hopefully there will be appearances by other people who've been in this band. If they [aren't] there, it's not because we don't want them there. This really is an all-inclusive celebration."

If this is the case, it's safe to say the KISS Army would approve! Triple M Classic Rock Digital will be featuring members of KISS Mon-Fri next week in 'End of the Road with KISS'. Tune-in from 3pm daily at triplem.com.au/classicrock or via the Triple M App.
