Just over two years after his shocking death, a statue tribute to David Bowie has been unveiled.
The tribute to the rock icon was unveiled this weekend in Aylesbury, the city where Bowie first debuted his alter ego Ziggy Stardust.
The bronze sculpture shows Bowie looking onto his alter egos, with a speaker playing his music every hour.
The statue was revealed by musician Howard Jones, see the statue:
The location Aylesbury has also been petitioned to change it’s name to Aylesbowie, as the rock star had a strong connection with the Buckinghamshire town.
Although the name change is looking unlikely, the crowd funded statue will have to do.
