Following the sad news of the death of The Cranberries singer Dolores O’Riordan, we’ve found Jeff Jenkin’s interview with the singer ahead of her 2007 solo release.

O’Riordan passed away suddenly, age 46.

In this raw and uncut interview, the private singer is reluctant to give away too much.

Holding her cards close to her chest, Dolores discussing hard times, saying;

“The best thing you learn with age is being yourself is the best thing you can possibly be”.

Talking of her departure from live music, Dolores admitted she could comfortably retire following the bands success, but she couldn’t stating;

“I’m a performer, it’s a part of me”.
