Detectives from the SAPOL's Major Crime Investigation Branch investigating the drowning death of Helen Dansie in Adelaide’s south parklands earlier this year have today arrested a 68-year-old man.
"The Burnside man has been charged with murder and is expected to appear before the Adelaide Magistrates Court today having been refused police bail," a SAPOL press release read.
"Mrs Dansie, 67, drowned in a pond at Veale Gardens, with her death declared a Major Crime.
"Since that time, detectives have been investigating the circumstances surrounding the death with those inquiries culminating in today's arrest."
The investigation is ongoing and SAPOL has urged anyone with information that may be able to assist them to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or report online at https://crimestopperssa.com.au/
