Child Dies In Adelaide House Fire

A child has died in a house fire at Netherby overnight.

Fire crews were called to the Smith Dorrien St home around 3.30am where they found the building well-alight.

A 65 year old man was pulled from the blaze and rushed to hospital with extensive burns.

He remains in a critical condition.

His 12 year old son's body was found inside.

It's still unknown what sparked the fire with investigators looking into a cause.

It's also believed six international students were staying in a bungalow at the rear of the property at the time where the flames may have started.
