Two Virgin Australia flight attendants have been hospitalised after encountering turbulence on their decent into Adelaide.
“We can confirm that unfortunately two of our cabin crew were injured and are receiving medical attention,” a Virgin Australia spokesperson told The West.
7 News reports two flight attendants were injured and were rushed to hospital, one with a broken leg.
“The safety of our guests and crew is always our number one priority and the aircraft is now being inspected by our engineers before it can be cleared to return to service,”
All the passengers were strapped in for the landing at 5.15pm local time. The turbulence wasn’t forecasted.
