No Taxis Running From Adelaide Airport In Protest Against Uber Agreement

Passengers arriving at Adelaide Airport are at a stand still this morning with taxis refusing to pick up any passengers.

The move by cabbies is a protest against yesterday’s agreement between the state government and Uber, allowing the ride sharing at to legally operate from the airport.

Uber was reportedly forced to cancel several rides from the airport last night due to safety concerns and SAPOL suggest the protest will stretch long into today.

Passengers waiting taxis are being told to board busses headed to the city centre.
