Semaphore Man Arrested Over Road Rage Knife Attack

A Semaphore man was arrested yesterday afternoon after allegedly slashing another motorist with a knife in a road rage incident.

It is alleged the victim was driving along Marion Rd in Adelaide's West when he was cut off by the driver of a Suburu near Sir Donald Bradman Dr.

Words were exchanged between the men before it was alleged the driver of the Suburu deliberately swerved towards the victim, swiping his side mirror.

Both men then stopped their vehicles near Henley Beach Rd, where the Subaru driver allegedly slashed the victims hand with a knife before fleeing the scene.

The victim was taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital with minor injuries.

The Semaphore man was arrested for intentionally causing harm and was refused bail.

He will appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court today.
