Adelaide Oval is set to host Rugby League's biggest event - State of Origin - in 2020.
On Wednesday State Tourism Minister Leon Bignell announced Adelaide will host one of the best-of-three State of Origin games for the first time.
And it seems that the announcement has gone down well in Queensland, with Brisbane's The Courier Mail posting an exceedingly salty article about it.
In the article that take aim at South Aussie's love for Pie Floaters and footy (aerial ping pong), while also mocking the Mall's Balls.
But the worst of the lot is the low blow about 'mass murder', making light of the horrific Snowtown murders.
I mean, by all means be annoyed, but you can't label an entire city a hotbed for was murder.
We think the editor at The Courier Mail may have dipped into the Sugarcane Champagne (Bundy Rum) a bit too early this morning...
