A 30-year-old Morphett Vale woman has been charged by South Australia Police over an early morning boat crash at Port Hughes.
She has been charged with refusing to provide her name and address, refusing to supply a blood sample and property damage in relation to damage caused at a local hospital.
The charges come after four people located safely early this morning after their boat had overturned.
Police, emergency services, Sea Rescue were called to the Port Hughes boat ramp just after 6am this morning after one of the people on board managed to swim to shore to raise the alarm.
A second person made it to shore a short time later and was treated by paramedics. The remaining two people stayed with the up-turned boat and were picked up by a local fisherman just before 7am this morning.
It is believed the small 'tinny' boat capsized around 2am this morning, about 2 kilometres south of Port Hughes on the Yorke Peninsula.
The woman has been bailed to appear in the Kadina Magistrates Court on 12 February.
