The 2018 Commonwealth Games will be held on the Gold Coast and Albany will play an important part in the lead up, with the baton relay passing through the city on Thursday the 22nd of February 2018!
Across the country, 3800 baton-bearers will be required to share the dream of the "friendly games" as part of the Queen's Baton Relay.
Mayor Dennis Wellington is encouraging locals to be part of this special event for 2018
Nominees must be at least 10 years of age at 25th of December 2017 and be an Australian citizen
