It's been nearly 20 years since Judy Nunn appeared on Home and Away as the affable Ailsa Stewart.

Since leaving the Seven Network drama in 2000, Nunn has gone on to have a very successful career as an author.

Releasing 14 books over the years with over one million copies sold worldwide, Judy Nunn is launching Sanctuary in 2017, a story inspired by a visit to the Abrohlos Islands just west of Geraldton.

It's a story of how strangers come together through tragedy with the common goal to survive.

You can meet Judy Nunn on Sunday the 29th of October from 3pm at the Albany Senior Citizens Centre on Grey Street West.

For bookings head to Paperbark Merchants on York Street or go to paperbarks.com.au. Admission is $5 or FREE with any purchase of Judy Nunn's book Sanctuary.
