Albany Detectives are investigating a number of fraud offences that have been committed in the Albany area on 26 August 2017.

 

It is believed that a group of young males have been using a mobile type device on EFTPOS machines at local businesses.  While using the device, they are seen to type in multiple numbers that may reflect credit card details.

 

Multiple transactions have been undertaken at the same location, and typical transactions involve the purchase of multiple iTunes cards, prepaid EFTPOS cards, and store gift cards.

 

The males are described as being dark skinned, and aged approximately between 18 and 28 years of age. It is believed they may be travelling in an older style Holden Commodore sedan.
