Following fires in Orana and King River

Albany Detectives are seeking the public's assistance with their investigation into several scrub fires that occurred on Monday the 23rd of January 2017.

Between 12.15pm and 1.15pm several fires started along Greatrex Road in King River and Anson Road in Orana.

The fires are being treated as suspicious and police would like to speak to anyone who was in the area around the above times or who may have seen suspicious persons or vehicles in the vicinity of the fires.

Detectives would like to speak to the owner of a white utility with Albany registration plates seen travelling on Chester Pass Road around 1pm. Detectives believe that the driver maybe able to assist with enquires.
