Locals urged not be complacent on roads

May 8 to 14 is Road Safety Week.

The launch was held at the Anzac Peace Park with the new Police Minister Michelle Roberts heading to Albany ahead of an important week

Despite the road toll being well down on the same time last year, the message is not to be complacent. Motorists can also expect a bigger police presence in the region with a number of initiatives being implemented throughout the community.
