Labor will support Icebreakers

Opposition Leader Mark McGowan has made a quick visit to Albany today to announce support for a two year trial of the Icebreakers program, a program that supports methamphetamine addicts moving from dependence to recovery. 

He says he has constantly met people who have been affected by the methamphetamine scourge in the community and has promised to further develop a local program that is making a difference.

*WA Labor will provide $360,000 for a two year trial of Albany's Ice Breakers program

*The initiative forms part of Labor's state-wide coordinated and targeted Methamphetamine Action Plan (MAP)
