The City of Albany is inviting Spencer Park residents to join us for ‘1000 cups of coffee, 100 conversations’ from November 23 to 25 at Spencer Park Shopping Centre.

From 10am until 5.30pm on Thursday, Friday or Saturday, residents are encouraged to drop past the pop-up lounge room in the shopping centre for a cuppa and a chat about what they love about Spencer Park and their ideas on how we can create better connections between residents.

The project also aims to collect old photos and memories of Spencer Park for future preservation of the suburb’s social history.

The week will end with a neighbourhood party at Spencer Park Primary School from 4.30pm until 7pm on Saturday, November 25.

Residents will be able to enjoy activities, a free bouncy castle and sausage sizzle, as well as the opportunity for attendees to view and vote on the ideas collected over the three days of conversation.
