The search is on for the next inductee into the WA Women's Hall of Fame, which could be from Albany!

In March 2016, former Albany mayor and radio broadcaster Annette Knight was inducted. Sadly Annette Knight passed away in August of the same year.

Together with support from Lotterywest and the Department of Local Government and Communities, ISHAR Multicultural Women’s Health Centre proudly hosts this year’s WA Women’s Hall of Fame.

The WA Women’s Hall of Fame provides the opportunity for women from all walks of life, from all regions in this State, and from a myriad of diverse cultural backgrounds to be recognised for their achievements and the difference they have made to the lives of other Western Australian’s.

The 2018 inductees will be selected from one of the following categories: Community, Business, Health, Education, The Arts, Culture, STEM and Sport. It is easy to nominate, and will take no more than 15 minutes.

Fiona Reid from the selection panel for the WA Women's Hall Of Fame spoke in detail about the awards.

To nominate head to http://www.wawomenshalloffame.com.au/nominations.htm before 5pm on Friday the 9th of February.
