Major Crash Investigators are appealing for information about a single vehicle fatal traffic crash yesterday (Wednesday 9 May 2018) in Wundowie.

Police officers were on patrol on Great Eastern Highway just after 3pm when they detected a blue Holden Utility being driven in excess of 140km/hr in the 110km/hr speed zone, just east of Chedaring Road.

The officers attempted to stop the vehicle, however the driver continued driving at high speed, turning off onto Chedaring Road and disappearing.

The officers then drove along Chedaring Road and located the vehicle, which had rolled over and crashed.

Police officers and St John Ambulance personnel administered emergency first aid to the 31 year old male driver, however he was unable to be revived.
