For the third time in just over a month, Queensland Police have laid charged against a Brisbane Uber driver.
A 45-year-old man working for the ride-sharing app has been charged with deprivation of liberty after allegedly refusing to release a female passenger from his car on Saturday night, during a trip to Fortitude Valley.
7 News Brisbane spoke to the driver, he claims it was a total misunderstanding and he didn't mean to frighten the woman.
"The GPS signal is, just got lost. And we just got the wrong way."
He'll face court next month.
