In breaking news, there is currently an exclusion zone in place after reports of an explosive device inside a car in Brisbane.
According to 7 News, the device has been found inside a car parked in Redbank Plaza.
People are advised to avoid the area.
Police have declared an emergency situation under the Public Safety Preservation Act after a suspicious device was located in a carpark in Redbank this morning. The PSPA was declared at 9.15am after a device was located in a vehicle. An exclusion zone has been set up an encompassing Collingwood Drive, Law Street South, Ipswich Motorway Service Road and Redbank Plaza Service Road. Specialist police are in attendance. A man and a woman are currently assisting police with their inquiries. Police are asking people to avoid the area.
