A Brisbane girl has been found safe and well, more than 12 hours after she disappeared while out trick or treating with friends.
The 13 year old girl's mother has updated social media followers to say the girl was found by her stepfather at a park where she was last seen on Tuesday night.
The boy she was missing with was with her at the time, though there are reports he ran away when adults approached.
Brisbane Police have started the search for a 13 year old girl reported missing after a night out trick or treating with friends.
The girl left home at Morayfield around 6pm, wearing blue jeans and a ripped white top covered in fake blood (as pictured).
She was with two boys at the time, and they were last seen near Brodies Park, on Glenwood Drive at about 8.30pm.
One of the boys made it home safely, and police say it was his belief that the others had made it home too. Chloe has not returned home.
The girl's family has checked local hang outs and friends' houses. Her snapchat location is switched off, and her phone sim card does not allow her to make calls.
A police spokesperson tells us this case is considered of high priority, because of her young age.
