Police are investigating following the suspicious death of a man at Mount Gravatt East, who sustained severe head injuries.
It's believed the 33-year-old man had been house sitting at the Hoff Street residence, with his parents making the grim discovery around 9.30pm on Sunday night whilst checking up on him, they became concerned when they hadn't heard from him.
The home owners are currently holidaying overseas.
It is not yet known how or exactly when the man died, but detectives have reportedly taken a number of items from the home to conduct forensic tests.
Locals who heard anything suspicious in the area in the past 24 hours are urged to contact police.
