Manhunt Continues After Brisbane School Stabbing QLD Police

Police continue to hunt down a wanted criminal believed to be behind a stabbing attack at an elite Brisbane girls' school on Wednesday morning.

Khia Gribben, 25, allegedly stabbed a 51-year-old security guard who disturbed him on school grounds at Somerville House boarding school just before 5.30am.

The guard is now stable after undergoing emergency surgery for wounds to the chest and arms.

It's believed Gribben, who already has two warrants out against him, took a train to Albion station, CCTV captured him walking through the station with a backpack and small green plastic bin. He then got into a taxi which dropped him off near Lutwyche City shopping centre about 40 minutes after the attack.

Police say Gribben has connection on Brisbane's northside and are urging anyone who knows his whereabouts to contact 000.

Members of the public are advised not to approach him.
