Two Men Charged As Police Seize Ice In Maccas Drive-Through

Police have charged two men following the discovery of a large quantity of dangerous drugs in a vehicle in Rockhampton this morning.

Around 2:30am, officers intercepted a Toyota Kluger in the drive-thru of a George Street McDonald's restaurant, where it will be alleged a search of the vehicle resulted in the location of approximately 5kgs of Ice.

The male driver and male passenger were arrested at the scene.

A 35-year-old Doolandella man and 37-year-old Eight Mile Plains man, have been charged with drug related offences including possession of dangerous drugs, possess tainted property and contravene an order.

They are expected to appear in the Rockhampton Magistrates Court tomorrow.
