The Centenary Motorway's been revealed as the slowest commute in Brisbane, with people travelling 72 km per hour less than the speed limit.
Drivers are having to crawl along an average speeds of 22km/h in the morning, and 26 km/h in the arvo.
The statistics from the RACQ also show the Pacific Motorway isn't much better, with sections slowed by as much as 46km/h.
The motoring body's spokeswoman Renee Smith says the State Government needs to upgrade these sections ASAP.
"For a city that continues to grow and prosper, a commute where you travel at only a quarter of the allowed speed is unacceptable.”
