A lot of us are saying good riddance to Summer, it's been bloody unbearable across Queensland.
And while it has felt slightly "cooler" in the south-east over the last few days, Weather Bureau Meteorologist Janine Yuasa said that's not necessarily the reality.
"We've had 30 days in a row above 30 degrees, it's been warm, so now that we're back to close-to-average temps it feels a bit cooler but it's still very warm," she said.
"In the last couple of days we've had a slightly dryer air mass so it has felt a lot more cooler and comfortable."
Yuasa said we'll be able to give the aircon a bit of a break this week, but the forecast for autumn's a little bit stickier than expected.
"We're expecting a lot of shower activity for Brisbane, but generally the outlook for Autumn is dryer and warmer than average for most of the country. "
Lets just sleep till' Winter.
