Two trailers stolen from a worksite near Caravonica

Smithfield police are investigating the theft of two trailers from a worksite near Caravonica sometime during the last week.

Employees attended the Lake Placid Road worksite on Sunday and found that the trailers had been stolen.

 The first trailer is described as being a two tonne galvanised tandem axle car or machinery type trailer with white painted steel wheels.  It was fitted with a 1000 litre white poly chemical tank, hose reel and associated spraying equipment and has an aluminium toolbox mounted on the drawbar.  When stolen it was bearing Qld registration 946-QOC. 

The second trailer is described as being a galvanised tandem axle 8’x 5’ box type trainer with white painted steel wheels. It was fitted with a 600 litre blue poly chemical tank, hose reel and associated spraying equipment and when stolen was bearing Qld rego 388-QSH.
