Labor's standing by its plan to cut tax credits for around 9,000 Coasties making money off their shares in the Robertson electorate.
The Treasury's released stats this morning, showing about one in every sixteen people in the marginal Central Coast seat will lose nearly $1800 a year under the plans.
But Labor candidate for Robertson Anne Charlton says she's committed to the policy, saying the people affected will be able to afford the change.
"It's money that people with very large super balances and substantial assets already have," MS Charlton says.
"And people who are affected are on the low taxable income because they are paying no tax as it happens."
