Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull came up to the Coast via train today, meeting up with West Gosford business Bambi Enterprises this morning.
He's given it a pat on the back for securing a deal to sell its matresses to Chinese eCommerce business JD.com.
Mr Turnbull said the government's economic policies are delivering for local businesses and beyond.
"In the last year, we've seen 355,000 jobs created in Australia, 84% of them full time... and that is because of families like the Whitneys... using their enterprise and going out into the world and find new export markets."
While Mr Turnbull was more critical of other Australian links to China - specifically reports Labor Senator Sam Dastyari warned a wealthy Communist Party-linked donor Huang Xiangmo his phone was being tapped by the federal government last year.
Later on, Mr Turnbull looked at the new ATO vote on Georgiana Terrace, which will soon house 600 employees.
