Tributes today for Aussie boxing legend Troy Waters after he lost his long fight with a rare form of blood cancer.
The 53 year old, who was born in London but raised here on the Central Coast at the family's Kulnura farm, went on to become the best middleweight in the country.
Waters unsuccessfully fought for 3 world titles and finished his career with a 28 and 5 record, including 20 knockouts, earning him an induction into the Australian Boxing Hall of Fame.

Diagnosed with acute myeloid leukaemia in 2014, he underwent chemotherapy and a bone marrow transplant from older brother Dean, but finally succumbed this morning.
WATERS, who lived at Wamberal, leaves behind wife Michelle and 2 teenage children.
