Investigations Into Fire at Lucknow Commence This Morning

Thankfully, no one was injured during a fire at Lucknow over the weekend.

Crews from the NSW Rural Fire Service, and Fire and Rescue, worked tirelessly on Sunday, after a shed caught alight near the intersection of Newman Street and the Mitchell Highway.

The fire did cause trouble for motorists who were travelling on the highway, with traffic backed up for almost a kilometre, meanwhile homeowners around the village, experienced power outages.

The fire is now under control, and police are set to investigate the circumstances of the blaze this morning.
