A report will be prepared for the coroner, following the death of a 63- year- old man, who was injured during a two vehicle collision near Orange earlier this month.
Around 4:30pm on the 4th of October, emergency services were called to the Mitchell Highway, following reports that a Holden Astra and Toyota Hilux had collided.
The driver of the Holden, a 20- year- old woman, died at the scene.
The 32- year- old male driver of the Toyota, was treated by paramedics, before being conveyed to Orange Health Service in a serious but stable condition.
His passenger a 63- year- old man, was airlifted to Westmead hospital in a serious condition.
At approximately 4am yesterday morning (October 23rd), the 63- year- old man died in hospital, 19 days after the accident.
