I posted a picture earlier this week of Malcolm Turnbull at the footy with his granddaughter and a beer in hand. It is a photo that went viral over some, (the minority), people reacting negatively towards it because he was holding an alcoholic beverage. It was a post on our Facebook pages that had so much traction that I hadn’t seen/received before. I think maybe some of the reason why people felt so strongly towards defending the photo is because political correctness has gone to a bit of an extreme lately and the news can sometime be so very quick to report on something that will stir the pot rather then news that is informative, educational and heaven forbid helpful. Just a thought… :) As your breakfast radio announcer for Triple M throughout the Central Wheatbelt and Avon Valley, I will endeavor always to provide information that is correct and relevant :)
