Sport throughout the Central Wheatbelt and Avon Valley is a vital thread that brings our communities and people together. I could not be happier that the football is back in full swing and along with the netball and hockey seasons.
The Eastern Districts and Avon Valley leagues are always great games to watch and it’s always really nice to see how much of the town comes to the games in support, it’s also great that we have teams travelling frequently to other towns throughout the region, sharing the load of travel.
Upon joining a new netball club this year, it’s now something that I can really look forward to throughout the week, the trainings and competitions on the weekends for me aren’t all about the game, but a chance to connect with team mates and really start investing in relationships here and I think that’s really important.
