72 Year Old Charged with Wilful Exposure in Bellingen

A 72 year old man has been charged by Police for wilful exposure after an incident in Bellingen over the weekend.

About 3pm on Saturday, a number of families were gathered in a reserve on Hammond Street at Bellingen, when police were called.

Police have been told a man was naked and committing an indecent act in view of families at the location.

Officers from Coffs/Clarence LAC attended and arrested a 72 year old man.

He was taken to Coffs Harbour Police Station and charged with wilful and obscene exposure and behave in offensive manner in or near a public place.

He was given conditional bail and is due to appear at Coffs Harbour Local Court on Monday 30 January 2017.
