A 46 year old woman has appeared briefly in Coffs Harbour Local Court on Sunday after returning a positive breath analysis more than six times the legal limit.

Cheryl Lee Harvie was stopped by Police on Saturday at Emerald Beach.

After returning a positive result, she was taken to Coffs Harbour Police Station where she was subject to a breath analysis which allegedly returned a reading of 0.324.

Police also allege the woman’s drivers licence was disqualified until 2022.

Ms Harvie was refused bail by Police after she was charged with high range PCA (second offence) and drive whilst disqualified (second offence).

On Sunday she appeared before Deputy Registrar Edwards, who gave her conditional bail where she is to attend Coffs Harbour Police Station daily, and not drive a motor vehicle.

She is due to reappear at Coffs Harbour Local Court on July 17.
