Police are seeking witnesses for an armed robbery at a service station last night in Toormina.

About 9:20pm on Monday, 4 December 2017, a man entered a service station on Toormina Road.

The man produced a weapon to the 21 year old male service station attendant and demanded money from the cash register.

He then fled north on Toormina Road towards Sawtell Road with a small amount of money.

The person of interest is described as being male, approximately 170cm tall, wearing a black jumper with white writing on the front, black pants, black joggers, carrying a multi-coloured bag.

Coffs/Clarence Detectives and forensic police have examined the scene and investigations are ongoing.

The victim was not injured in the robbery.

Police are urging anyone with information in relation to the incident to contact Coffs Harbour Police Station on 6691 0799 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
