UPDATE: Gordon St Re-opened After Police Incident

***UPDATE****

Gordon St has now re-opened after an earlier Police incident.

The road was closed earlier this morning after a man climbed to the top of the crane on the Coffs Central construction site.

The alarm was raised by workers when they arrived to the site.

The man safely returned to the ground before being escorted from the area by police.

EARLIER:

Emergency Services are currently at the scene of a police incident in the Coffs Harbour CBD.

Gordon Street has been closed off between Harbour Drive and Vernon Street.

Motorists and pedestrians are best to avoid the area.
