UPDATE:

Two men have been found guilty for their roles in the death of Lynette Daley on a beach at Iluka in 2011.

In just 32 minutes, a jury found 42 year old, Adrian Attwater, guilty of manslaughter and aggravated sexual assault, and accomplice Paul Maris was found guilty of aggravated sexual assault.

Both men had pleaded not guilty to the charges.

The victim's family were heard to cry "yes" when the guilty verdict was handed down in the NSW Supreme Court in Coffs Harbour.

The men will face a sentence hearing in November.

EARLIER:

After more than four weeks sitting in the trial of Adrian Attwater and Paul Maris in Coffs Harbour, the jury has retired to consider their verdict.

The trial relates to the death on Australia Day 2011 of Lynette Daley at Iluka's Ten Mile Beach.

Adrian Attwater is charged with manslaughter and aggravated sexual intercourse without consent in relation to Ms Daley's death.

The second man, Paul Maris faces charges of aggravated sexual intercourse without consent and accessory after the fact to manslaughter.

The jury will now consider their verdict in the case.
