BREAKING NEWS: Shark Attack at Evans Head

BREAKING NEWS: There's been a shark attack off Evans Head in northern NSW.

Paramedics are treating a 73 year old man on the beach who has deep lacerations to his right forearm.

The Westpac Life Saver Rescue Helicopter was been tasked by NSW Ambulance to Evans Head south of Lismore with reports of a shark attack.

According to the Westpact Rescue Helicopter, the 73 year boat fisherman has suffered superficial wounds to the right arm after hooking the Mako shark.

The injured fisherman was taken by NSW Ambulance by road to Lismore Base Hospital for further treatment.
