The Westpac Rescue Helicopter has conducted a rescue in Coffs Harbour this afternoon.
Just before 5pm, it landed on the top of Muttonbird Island before flying over and landing at the South Wall.
It’s understood the 15 year old patient fell on rocks and sustained leg injuries on top of the island.
Once the patient was stabilised, the helicopter returned to the top of Muttonbird Island before flying the person to the Coffs Harbour Health Campus.
